Meet Ann-Marie

With over a decade of teaching experience, Ann-Marie works with singers and musicians of all ages, helping students build healthy technique, confidence, and expressive communication. Her students have achieved success in All State and District Choirs, collegiate performing arts programs, and musical theatre productions. She has held teaching positions at the Kingsley Academy, 77 Arts Academy, and Wakefield High School. Having worked for one of the country’s foremost classical music PR firms, Unison Media, Ann-Marie has worked behind the scenes with leading classical artists. This experience gives her a unique perspective on both the artistry and communication skills required to build a meaningful career in music.

Private Lessons

My goal is to help every student become a more confident and effective communicator through music. I believe that developing musicality strengthens both artistic expression and interpersonal skills. Through a text-based approach that puts communication first, I help students discover a free, authentic sound in both practice and performance.

FAQs

Do you offer free trial lessons?

I do not offer free trial lessons. However, I am happy to charge my rate for one lesson outside of my 4 lesson packages if you would like to try a lesson out.

What If I Need To Cancel?
  • If you can cancel with more than 24hrs notice, Ann-Marie will offer an alternative day for a makeup lesson that can be done virtually or in-person. If you are not available on that day, Ann-Marie will provide a tailored at-home lesson that can be completed independently.
  • If you cancel with less than 24hrs notice Ann-Marie will provide a tailored at-home lesson that can be completed independently.
  • Please do not come to the studio if you are sick. We can meet virtually, or I can provide guidance for you to complete an independent lesson!
Is There Parking?

Yes! There are designated parking spaces across the street from the studio. Free 2hr street parking is also available.

What lesson length is best?

Lesson length is a personal choice based on age, level, and budget. Below, please find some recommendations:
By Age:

  • 30min  - Ages 5-9
  • 45min - Ages 9+
  • 60min - Ages 14+

By Level

  • 30min - Beginner
  • 45min -  Intermediate → Advanced

How Do Hybrid Lessons Work?

Your lesson time is your own to use in whatever way best fits your lifestyle. If you would only like to travel 1-2x per month, we can create a schedule where we meet virtually on your ‘off’ weeks in the studio. Lesson time and length will remain the same regardless of in-person or virtual.
